Programs at OHAA Waldorf Inspired School

Playgroup Program (Ages 1-3)

Our Playgroup program is designed to provide a nurturing and secure environment for the youngest learners. Children engage in sensory play, storytelling, and creative activities that encourage exploration and social interaction. The focus is on developing motor skills, language, and emotional awareness through guided play and natural rhythms. This early-stage program fosters curiosity and helps children build confidence in a warm, caring setting.

Kindergarten (Ages 3-6)

In the Kindergarten program, children are introduced to a more structured environment where play, creativity, and hands-on activities form the foundation of learning. Through storytelling, arts, crafts, and outdoor play, children develop social skills, imagination, and a connection to the natural world. Practical life skills are gently introduced, and the curriculum prepares them for a smooth transition into the primary years, nurturing their sense of wonder and creativity.

Primary Program (Grade 1–Grade 5)

The Primary Program blends Waldorf-inspired teaching with the academic rigor of the IGCSE curriculum. In these foundational years, children are introduced to core subjects like reading, writing, mathematics, and science through interactive and experiential learning. Storytelling, artistic expression, and practical activities are integrated into the lessons, fostering a deep understanding of the world. As students progress, they are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, and engage in projects that connect academic learning with real-world experiences.

These programs are designed to ensure a balanced and enriching educational experience that supports the overall development of each child.
